project background
my mood is an app designed to help users track symptoms and information related to their mental health in order to better contextualize them. It allows them to input the time, severity, and name of various symptoms as well as view the data holistically in the form of graphs demonstrating trends.
The beginning stages of this project consisted of designing the information architecture (immediately below) then translating that into wireframes (left). Each of these went through several instances of refinement before a single direction was decided upon. I additionally developed a style guide (left below) and researched demographics that would be interested in this product to develop a person (bottom right).
the process
Here are a few of the frames I built out. As users engage with the app, they can earn coins which they can then spend unlocking different customizable characters. This rewards system helps encourage people to use the app.

Pictured to the right is a screenshot of my workspace for the final app on Figma so you can get a sense of the extent to which this project was developed.
